Five Journalists Murdered In Targeted Israeli Attack

  Targeted Attack An Israeli airstrike on Al-Awda Hospital in the Nuseirat refugee camp killed five Palestinian journalists on Thursday, December 26. The journalists were employed by Al-Quds, their names are Fadi Hassouna, Ibrahim al-Sheikh Ali, Mohammed al-Ladah, Faisal Abu al-Qumsan and Ayman al-Jidi. Al-Jidi was waiting in the press van with the four others while with his wife was giving birth to their first child. Tragically, he was murdered on the same day his son was born. Before learning of her husband's death, a video shows Al-Jidi's wife telling her brother-in-law that she plans to name the baby Abdullah. Since her husband's martyrdom, she has since named him after his father, Ayman. Canary Mission: Could You Be A Target?

  A Brief History The Canary Mission, a U.S. based website, was established in 2014 as a way to counteract the growing Boycott, Divest, Sanction (BDS) movement. The BDS movement encourages the end of international support for Israel's oppression of Palestinian's as well as to pressure Israel to comply with international law. The Canary Mission labels the BDS movement as antisemitic, they claim that they were motivated to start the Canary Mission to combat antisemitism on college campuses. In 10 years of operation, no person has claimed responsibility for maintaining it. The Canary Mission has shown that they are combating antisemitism by perpetuating bias against individuals advocating for Palestine, whether or not they are students. "Soul of my soul" Khaled Nabhan has been killed

  An Israeli artillery strike on the Nuseirat Camp in the central Gaza Strip has claimed the lives of three people including Khaled Nabhan on December 16, 2024. Nabhan became known for the phrase "the soul of my soul" after speaking about the death of his granddaughter, Reem Nabhan. Reem Reem Nabhan was three-years-old in November 2023 when she was killed along with her five-year-old brother, Tarek in an Israeli airstrike near the home they shared with their mother and grandparents. Her grandfather's grief was broadcast around the world showing his tearful goodbye to her as he kissed her eyes and stroked her hair calling her the “soul of my soul”. In an interview with CNN shortly after the attack that took their lives, Nabhan said “I was wishing, hoping that they were only sleeping,” he said. “But they weren’t sleeping, they are gone."
